KENYA KEYS - PROVIDING EDUCATION IN RURAL KENYA

November 10, 2019

Change a life for just over $1 a day.

Did you know a donation of only $375 A YEAR sponsors a child to go to school?

In Kenya, the government only pays for a child’s education through 8th grade. Countless bright, eager students in rural areas long for a chance to learn more. They live in extreme poverty and can barely afford the basics to sustain life. Without financial help, only 12% of boys and 5% of girls complete secondary school.

The Kenya Keys Sponsorship Program enables individuals and groups to help a child pursue a brighter future. A sponsorship provides room, board, tuition and books for a qualified and carefully selected student who will be matched with you. Once matched, annual letters and photos between you and your student are hand delivered by our volunteer interns who check on their personal and educational progress. As you follow your student’s progress over the years, you will learn about their interests, family, and life in the African bush.

The success of The Kenya Key's high school sponsorship program has resulted in many outstanding students qualifying for college each year!

An important component of the Sponsorship Program is the requirement that students engage in internships in their communities, often in schools, clinics or libraries. Graduating students also serve as mentors and role models to younger students. Their role as leaders in their homes, schools and communities is priceless and profound.

All of these life changing opportunities happen because of sponsors like you!
